Genuine USA army surplus. Digi pattern camouflge introduced following the choc chip desert pattern.

This pattern uniform not only introduced a complete change in camouflage style but changed the style of cut of the old BDU suits issued since the vietnam war. The shirt/jacket has a mandarin style collar that can be closed with velcro fastening around the neck more securely to keep sand and dust out. Buttons on the old BDU have been replaced by velcro and a full length zip. Breast pockets have slanted vertical access for easy access and are velcro fastened. There is a pocket on each upper arm with velro fastening and large velcro platforms for rank and regiment insignia badges, both arms have added protection on the elbows and velcro closure on the cuffs. The left arm has a pen pocket ( 3 pens ) on the forearm. The upper back is bloused to allow freedom of movement. The entire shirt is manufactured in ripsop material to prevent snags becoming rips and to greatly increase strength to weight.
